HYENA (2005-2013)

Hyena is mostly a forgotten name of the Fresno underground, but apperantly within the Rave scene of Fresno CA, the ‘Legend’ still lingers, along with the history of Viberite. Hyena had made his presence known in Fresno specifically, but actually began producing under the alias at a friend’s college apartment in Isla Vista at U.C. Santa Barbara.

NYKKYNN (2014-PRESENT)

Hyena is a name associated with Voodoo. It’s literally looked at as a henchman of whoever the king to the spell is. It also forbodes Fame and fortune at the cost of love and happiness, which is the same definition of 36 in Numerology and iChing. Hyena in Numerology is the number 36. After this revelation, Nykkynn “Killed” Hyena, making it well known that Hyena is “Dead”. It was never explained why because the explanation is always met with rolling eyes. But Nykkynn swears he lived Hyena’s life for about 6 years of this alias. He changed his name to Dulux-the-fool at first and then finally found his settled name which he uses today. But by killing Hyena, Nykkynn threw away everything he’d built with a music reputation, knowing it wasn’t authentic, it wasn’t real, it was all just a party to play music at. Nykkynn is now a Music Scientist, a career title by produced evidence, regardless of monetary traffic.

Since the death of Hyena, and the birth of Nykkynn (a name associated with the number 33 and carries no history to attract symbolism or alchemy), he’s suddenly run into a lot of supernatural stuff, and lucky chance situations.

Nykkynn’s had the privilage of playing music for Warner Bros. A&Rs, has been offered contracts, including an “Offer” by Capitol Records. Nykkynn turned them all down due to negative contract technicalities. Nykkynn’s ben interviewed by Socal Radio about the problem with Major Record Labels and their 360 Contracts in Los Angeles in 2017. It wouldn’t be until later that Nykkynn would run into another offer, but first;

Specifically with supernatural situations, Nykkynn claims to have dreams of being visited by both Jim Morrison and the Devil on separate occasions. His dreams of Jim aren’t recognized as something significant until waking up; the dreams tend to be like a group of freinds out loitering, with no real memorable message or meaning. However one dream stuck out that resonates today:
Nykkynn says Jim pulled out balloons and showed them to him and said, “All the Galaxies are Countries,” as the balloons all pop and the glitter inside sparkles into swirls that resemble galaxies.
The Devil however, Nykkynn isn’t fond of. Dreams of the Devil are never Nightmares, they’re actually extremely bizzare and sometimes intriguing. They always ended in Nykkynn losing his temper though, and Angels appearing to remove and wake Nykkynn out of the dream. A lot of those dreams stopped in 2019. And Nykkynn played at the Seattle Waterfront.

2020

It’s after all of this, that in 2020 Nykkynn was approached by the Illuminati to join their organization.

After this conversation, Nykkynn approached the Free Masons and asked them about the Illuminati. They said that “Free Masonry merely teaches men how to be a better man, and it involves a lot of memorization.” that it has no association to any other sect of masonry except the Knight Templar who are specifically a Christian Mason group. They made it clear that, “If anyone out there has a secret society using Mason symbols, they’re just a scam.” Nykkynn is currently engaging the Free Masons to learn more about the Knights Templar.

Nykkynn is now and forever Religious.

MAY 7TH, 2023

After 2019, Nykkynn released the 5 Nightshades Albums online and stepped away from Music, feeling he’d made the statement clear that music has no value to the over-all population. It didn’t stop Nykkynn from continuing to dabble in music, however, the music science effort that had been in practice for over 20 years had finally stopped for once. It stopped briefly between 2018 and 2019 as well, but this time it wouldn’t be pursued again until 2023, when KEMST MC out of Los Angeles requested Nykkynn to perform at the Offbeats in Highland Park Los Angeles.

This event was the first of its kind, as the names on the roster were all of “original design” through unconventional ‘musical instrumentation’ means. While it appears that Nykkynn is DJing a set, the reality is that he’s created a hybridization between the DJ equipment and the modular equipment, solidifying himself as a ‘Modular DJ’. All the sounds in the set are absolutely original, including the sounds used to scratch on Serato. After this event, Nykkynn has reapproached engaging University Professors through the help of a Music Manager.
